We are looking to appoint a focused, motivated and tenacious Outreach Worker to engage with the community within the locally deprived wards of Birmingham. The aim of the role is to recruit unemployed and ESA clients onto a number of employment/training focused programmes.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience working in welfare to work projects and have a proven track record in engagement activities, however, applicants with excellent people skills and a customer service or sales background maybe considered. Candidates must be level 3 qualified, AIG experience .
It is essential that the successful candidate will have a strong commitment to proactively building relationships, with not just the clients but with organisations and leaders within the community. This is to ensure engagement targets are exceeded, whilst continually delivering a high quality service.
A flexible attitude towards hours of work along with a willingness to travel is essential
Salary: £15,000 plus Bonus
